Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the determination of planning permission for the construction of a courtyard style development, comprising four houses and two flats. Three trenches were machine excavated. Two possible furrows or hedge boundaries, one of probable late medieval/post-medieval and the other of post-medieval date, were recorded in trenches two and three. A pit of probable medieval date was also recorded within trench three. [Au(abr)] |
