Recording of the Dais Window was completed in advance of repairs and conservation. Discovery of additional mason's marks provided fresh evidence to suggest that the window was originally constructed at the Hall and is not from another building. Traces of several layers of paint were recorded in the window, vault and arch. [Au] |
