Abstract:
In advance of the construction of 8 apartments at the site, an assessment and evaluation were carried out. While the assessment revealed the potential for archaeological remains from the prehistoric to the post-medieval periods, the evaluation only succeeded in uncovering a single medieval pit and a number of denuded features, the earliest of which containing some fragments of Roman pottery.
