An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the proposed site of a new office development on the edge of the medieval suburb of Saltisford and to the east of the medieval Leper Hospital. Evidence was recorded for clearance of the site and its subsequent use for rubbish disposal during the 20th century. the existing buildings of the former Council Depot was built over this deposit.
