Abstract: |
The assessment was concerned with the relocation of Royston Football Club's ground. The proposed site, though not directly interfering with archaeological remains, was in an area of archaeological importance, with upstanding prehistoric funerary monuments, including the only long barrow in Hertfordshire. Crop marks and flint scatters also surrounded the site. [Au(adp)] |
