Abstract:
No deposits which could be dated before 1700 were encountered, the function of the masonry and origin of some of the deposits remained uncertain. Further investigation and monitoring was needed to clarify stratigraphic relationships, to firmly establish dates and to investigate if the masonry is a surviving element of a robbed-out wall or other architectural feature.[Au]
