Abstract: |
The excavation was carried out on the orders of English Heritage that were worried about the proximity of the Vindolanda Vicus, which lay approximately 80 metres away. At the excavated depth however, no finds or features of Roman date were encountered although some sherds of post-medieval pottery were recovered. [AIP] |
