Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on a former light industrial site in advance of proposed redevelopment of the site. Eight trenches were excavated, none of which revealed any archaeological features dating to earlier than the 19th century. A very small quantity of residual finds from the 15th to 18th centuries was recovered. Large-scale post-medieval levelling had occurred across the site. [Au(abr)] |
