Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on groundworks for the Curbridge Park development. Previous archaeological field walking and evaluation had identified a lithic scatter and two pits in the northern part of the site. For this reason, the removal of the topsoil from an area c.640 sq. m was monitored. One further pit was found, with the fill containing several sherds of Early Bronze Age pottery. [Au(abr)] |
