Abstract: |
<summary>The digging of post-pits for posts and bollards was observed at 19 sites around the Town Walls. Where archaeological remains were encountered excavation was completed by archaeologists. The work was associated with the erection of direction signs and information panels in connection with the Town Walls Wall-Walk Scheme. Three sites were excavated to a sufficient depth to uncover material of archaeological interest. {italon}Sec(abr/adp)(1b){italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} SOU 428 (SCC HM investigation identification no) |
