Abstract:
<summary2>A watching brief was maintained during the stripping of the easement and the digging of the pipe trench for the Four Marks sewerage scheme. No significant archaeological deposits were identified and only a few stray finds were recovered - no discrete clusters were discernible. This may be due to the fact that much of the line of the pipe was on colluvial deposits, which often mask archaeological deposits. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} SU73SW101-4
