Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken in advance of the submission of a planning application for the construction of an extension. The study area was located within INSULA IX of CORINIUM and a number of important archaeological deposits and features had been recorded within and near to the development site. The evaluation identified a crushed limestone mortar surface of supposed Romano-British date at a depth of 0.8 metres across the extent of the excavated area. [Au] |
