Abstract:		 Observation of topsoil stripping for the construction of a new temporary site compound at the Rugby Cement works, adjacent to a later prehistoric/Romano-British settlement cropmark, revealed an undated field boundary ditch and traces of ridge and furrow. A scatter of flint from the observed area and over the cropmark suggested some Mesolithic activity in the general area. [Au]
