Abstract: |
No archaeological stratigraphy or finds were observed despite the study area being the suggested area for a gateway to Reigate Castle. If it had not already been destroyed, the position of the gateway must have been somewhere nearby. It was recommended that any further development in the area should have an archaeological scheme of works attached in order to ascertain the position of the gateway and moat. [AIP] |
