Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of the construction of student halls of residence. The evaluation revealed a small number of archaeological features, principally enclosure/field ditches of probable Romano-British date (small quantities of abraded pottery were recovered from the ditches). Some areas of previous ground disturbance/truncation were identified (in particular the car park area of Trench 3). [Au(abr)] |
