Abstract: |
The evaluation at the former Eagle and Child Public House revealed that much of the original land surface had been removed in the northern part of the site, during previous car park construction, but the southern part of the site was relatively intact. Post-medieval and modern features were recorded in this part of the site, including part of a large rubbish pit containing 18th century finds associated with the pub. [Au(abr)] |
