Abstract: |
The monitoring of building work on the former site of Hall Farm uncovered several features including pits and a large ditch. Dating evidence consisted of a single sherd of pottery dated c.12th-13th century, from one of the pits. Insufficient evidence was available to characterise the site but given the proximity of the church and the adjoining hall the appearance of medieval features was unsurprising. [Au] |
