Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was carried out during works undertaken for the purpose of providing the site with a new waterproof membrane. This work exposed the foundations of the south wall, and three pairs of trenches were dug to facilitate repointing and waterproofing of the foundations. Archaeological excavation was also undertaken on a natural gravel strip during the removal of two modern braces to the east of the doorway. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} SOU 487 (Southampton City Council, Heritage Management investigation identification no) |
