Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken on the proposed site of a quarry extension. The assessment identified that the site had been used for accommodation huts and other buildings for RAF Woodhill Spar during World War II. Ridge and furrow was identified on the site and prehistoric and Roman finds had been previously recovered. The site was also located within a prehistoric landscape. [Au(abr)] |
