Abstract:		 The watching brief comprised the observation of mechanical removal of the remaining footings and floor slab of the former cottages and underlying deposits. The vault and dividing walls of an underground brick cistern adjacent to the cottages were also removed and the cistern infilled. No archaeological features or deposits associated with the Scheduled Monument or any other activity was seen during the work. [Au(abr)]
