Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of six ponds and a channel. There was no evidence for anything that would be of direct archaeological interest, although the presence of deep layers of peat provided ample potential for further palaeoenvironmental work. This was likely to prove of considerable value for the general understanding of Holocene environmental history. [Au(adp)] |
