Abstract: |
The site of the evaluation anciently lay in the parish of Publow, which was mentioned in the Domesday Book. It was thought that the development area may have contained the remains of medieval settlement, or possibly earlier remains, Iron Age finds having been located in the vicinity of the site. Nothing was revealed which suggested medieval settlement activity, although medieval pottery fragments were revealed which suggested agricultural activity within the site. [AIP] |
