Abstract: |
Reports on an extensive excavation of a twin-palisaded enclosure. Three phases of defence were recorded. Numerous postholes evinced structures, including one partial hut-circle, in the interior. Other prehistoric activity was identified outwith the site: two satellite hearths were located, one of which yielded Neolithic pottery. An `Appendix' (24-7) lists the contents of the archive. |
