Abstract: |
Reports on the observations made during a watching brief. The results of an initial `Geophysical survey' are discussed by R James (9--13). Significant concentrations of sensitive archaeological remains were identified and subsequently excavated at three discrete locations along the pipeline route: Kirkton (a BA cremation cemetery), North Scotstarvit (part of a medieval settlement), and Edenwood (the south ditch of a Roman temporary camp). Appendices list photographs, contexts, and soil samples. |
