Abstract:
Following the observed erosion of human bones from the shoreline, excavations found that continuing erosion had disturbed all skeletal material. No evidence of a cairn was found, and a possible pavement was identified as a natural deposit. Gary Tompsett (7--8 & 17--18) describes the `Topographic survey' that accompanied the excavations, while Amanda Cardy (12--13) reports on `Human skeletal remains'. `Appendices' (26--30) list excavated features, drawings, finds, and photographs.
