Abstract: |
A watching brief undertaken on the 9th and 10th september 2004 on six of nine proposed sampling boreholes.Whilst the reletively small diameter of the cores offered a limited window for interpretation it did reveal a deep alluvial sequence into which two possible cut features were identified. One Post - Medieval and one possible Roman. Further work was conducted by another archaeological unit. |
