Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was conducted on land at Cleve Cross Selborne Road, Croydon, in advance of the demolition of the existing bungalow and redevelopment of the site. Three trial trenches were excavated. Due to on site constraints each trench had to be shortened, resulting in a total meterage of 1.8m X 23m. No archaeological features were observed. One piece of worked flint was recovered from a deposit of made ground within Trench 1. |
