Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by ULAS on behalf of JA Ball New Home Limited on land at 54 The Green, Donington le Heath, Leicestershire (SK 422 122). This work was carried out in advance of proposed residential development. Three trenches were excavated from which it was concluded that the construction of previous brick terraced properties had caused considerable disturbance and altered the landscape of the site. A small area of undisturbed ground to the east of Trench 1 did reveal an earlier stone built wall dated to the late seventeenth or early eighteenth century
