The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation undertaken by AOC Archaeology on behalf of RPS (PTE)between the 10th and 13th December 2004 ahead of development works at 179 Shoreditch High Street, Hackney. Due to the high level of truncation caused by the current basement, little stratigraphy remained. A single trench was hand excavated into the remaining deposits revealing several post medieval features and undatable features. The natural brickearth was recorded in these trenches at 12.55m OD.
