Abstract: |
The University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) undertook an archaeological watching brief during the excavation of geotechnical trial trenches at the Nevill Holt Hall, Nevill Holt, Leicestershire (NGR SP 816 937). The site lies within and in the proximity of the Stable Block of the Hall, which is a complex structure covering many periods, with its origins in the 13th century. The watching brief revealed no archaeological features or finds associated with archaeological features. The archive will be deposited with Leicestershire County Council Heritage Services with accession number X.A198.2004. |
