The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The watching brief was carried out on soil stripping of a site which is going to be a 123 acre golf course with sports facilities and club rooms. The site is surrounded by cropmark complexes representing probable prehistoric and Roman activity. This archaeological investigation refers to one small area of the whole scheme; an area to the east of Gurnhams Farmhouse. Three features were recorded, all at between 500mm-600mm below ground level.
