Abstract: |
The aim of the evaluation was to assess the impact of the proposed development of the site on any surviving archaeological remains. The evaluation consisted of four trenches. The evaluation revealed natural gravels overlain by several layers of alluvium approximately 1.00m thick. A small undated pit was cut through the natural gravels and a modern boundary ditch was cut through the subsoil. |
