The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A program of Archaeological works was carried out at 239-241 High Street Prestonpans and consisted of an intrusive evaluation and historic building assesment. The evaluation revealed the presence of a large waster pit containing large amounts of ceramic fragments and kiln furniture. In addition the remains of two sandstone walls were revealed one of which may be the remains of a basement structure. The remains of a victorian wash house was subject to a historic building assessment.
