Abstract: |
Archaeological Investigations Ltd. were commissioned to undertake a Historic Building Assessment of four properties at Bastion Mews, Hereford. No. 18 was built between 1800 and 1836. No. 13 is late 19th century and 37 Commercial Square was built just before 1848. Historically and architecturally Bastion House was the most significant. It was constructed by Leonard Johnson from the remains of the City Prison in the 19th century. |
