Abstract:
A four-pit archaeological evaluation of a site on the north side of Homerton High Street was carried out to determine the presence or absence of archaeological material. The site was characterised by made ground of post-medieval date overlying natural gravels, with evidence of pits cutting into the natural gravels which may suggest extraction.
