Abstract: |
This excavation revealed the presence of two phases of archaeological activity, the second of which dates securely to the post-medieval period. Two ditches on differing alignments were interpreted as being agricultural, possibly enclosure ditches. Other features investigated on the site included pits, quarry pits and a well. It is believed that these indicate the likely existance of a domestic area within close proximity to this study area. |
