Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out at an extension to the existing nuclear facility at Hinkley Point, Somerset. The work involved a total of 26 test pits excavated with a 14T machine. The development is located to the west of the existing nuclear facility and is spread over 9 large fields, centred on NGR 320000 145800.
