Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief that took place over four days, monitoring the insertion of land drains to the north and west of Brough Castle, partly in the moat and partly down the north facing bank. The castle is built on the site of the Roman fort of Veterae. Roman pottery was recovered but no archaeological features were observed. |
