Abstract:		 In October 2006 and January 2007, Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd (ASC) undertook a watching brief on a site at The Woodmans, 192 Hammond Street Road, West Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, during the construction of four bungalows and an access road. The only feature revealed was a modern ditch crossing the northernmost building plots. This was possibly a land boundary or drainage ditch associated with the former Hammondstreet Farm, which stood in this location in the late 19th century.
