Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	In August 2008 Archaeological Solutions Ltd conducted archaeological monitoring and recording at the site of a proposed new car port and store/workshop, The Stables, Jenningsbury, London Road, Hertford, Hertfordshire (TL 3414 1188). The monitoring was carried out during the groundworks for the proposed development. It was undertaken to comply with a planning condition requiring a programme of archaeological work (Planning Ref: 3/2311/04/FP). The site was situated on the platform of a medieval moated enclosure, so there was the potential for medieval manorial remains. Despite this potential, the monitoring and recording revealed no archaeological features or finds.
