Abstract: |
In response to a condition on the planning permission for the extension of the Centenary Hall at Berkhamsted Collegiate School, the Heritage Network was commissioned by the School to undertake the archaeological monitoring of the development groundworks. The site appears to have been heavily landscaped to create a building platform, probably during the construction of the existing buildings. No cut features, depositis or artefacts were encountered from any period during this project, and no unstratified artefacts were recovered from the spoil. |
