Abstract:
A walk-over survey and desk-based assessment in April 2010 to assess the nature and extent of any archaeology likely to be affected by the removal of existing overhead electricity cables and cable undergrounding in Glen Feshie, south of Kincraig, in Cairngorm National Park. The survey revealed that the proposed cable trench route crossed through several areas of archaeological interest and the trench was re-routed under archaeological supervision. No archaeological features were recorded in the revised trench line.
