Abstract: |
All of the excavation work carried out had been through made ground. In addition it was possible, because of two large holes dug prior to development works commencing, to observe made ground to a depth of more than 1.5m. As a result there is no reasonable possibility of significant archaeological material being disturbed by the development works. At no point was archaeologically sterile drift geology reached. The archaeological monitoring works uncovered no significant archaeological deposits and no material other that that which related modern use of the site |
