Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was conducted on the construction of a French drain and associated soakaway around the tower of the church in March and December 2005. Disarticulated human remains, possibley a charnel deposit, was identified in the soakaway, while the footings of the tower were seen to be made from Oving Limestone. Finds spanning the medieval to modern periods were recovered. |
