Abstract: |
During June 2002 Network Archaeology Ltd carried out an open area excavation in advance of the construction of a house on land to the rear of number 10, High Street, within the historic core of the town of Winslow, Buckinghamshire. An area of 94m squared was excavated revealing a moderate amount of possibly late medieval, post-medieval and early modern activity. This consisted of; rubbish pits, postholes, a soakaway, the remnant of a wall foundation and a boundary ditch. |
