Abstract:		 In February 2010 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out an archaeological monitoring and recording on land adjacent to 99 Ramney Drive, Enfield EN3 6DX (TQ 3649 9900). The monitoring was commissioned by Indecon Building Ltd, in compliance with a planning condition attached to planning approval for the construction of a pair of two-storey, 3-bedroom semi-detached residential dwellings on the site. The site lies within an area of archaeological potential, within the Lea Valley, which has revealed evidence of human activity and palaeoenvironmental evidence from the prehistoric period onwards. In particular, the site had potential for Bronze Age and medieval archaeological remains. In the event the monitoring revealed no archaeological features or finds.
