Abstract: |
A hollow way that dates from the late 19th century or before, was explored; an earlier origin could not be domonstrated but nor could it be ruled out. A small number of ditches and pits were recovered, some of which contained Bronze Age pottery. A layer of subsoil overlying these features also produced a quantity of flint, inluding a broken flaked axe, and later Bronze Age pottery. This material have be derived from the features below. A single sherd of late Iron Age pottery was also present. |
