Abstract:		 An archaeological assessment, by the Projects team of Historic Environment, Cornwall Council which aims to contribute to the understanding and appreciation of the cemeteries and their history, and promote their urgently needed improvement and longer term stabilisation. The report summarises present knowledge of the site, its past landscape, historical context, and condition. It provides an interim statement of significance. It also outlines relevant constraints and guidance, assesses issues, risks and needs affecting the cemeteries, and provides a framework identifying further work required for the development of a full Conservation Management Plan. Preliminary proposals for actions to address threats and realise potential are included.
