Abstract: |
A mid 19th-century bank barn was recorded prior to conversion into a residential property. The building contained a cowhouse on the ground floor and a threshing barn on the first floor. The structure was extended in the late 19th century. Postholes and internal surfaces from an associated, but now demolished, horse engine house were excavated, and a scrub clearance exposed the truncated remains of an early-mid 19th-century granary. |
