Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological watching brief was carried out on land on land adjacent to The Sycamores, Old Melton Road, Tilton on the Hill, Leicestershire (SK 742 056), on 13th-14th June 2007during groundworks for residential development. This work was carried out on behalf of Lavelle Slinn Developments Ltd by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS). The results of this investigation were negative as no archaeological finds or deposits were observed during this work. The site archive will be held by Leicestershire County Council, Heritage Services Section accession number X.A107.2007.
